The staff was friendly. The room clean and well maintained. Water warm, bed super comfy. We had a one night stay while being on our roadtrip. Great value and nothing to complain about

I had a great time at this hotel. It had everything I needed for my 4-day hiking vacation. I felt comfortable coming back to my room after spending time in the mountains. The location is perfect — easy to travel both to the mountains and downtown! The staff were friendly and always happy to help. I had a great vacation, and I’m glad this hotel wasn’t a problem at all, despite some of the reviews I read. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here recently with my boyfriend. This is clearly a place that the owners and employees care about. They put effort into the design of the rooms, which had new furniture, new tile and finishings, and plenty of space. Everything was reasonably clean for an inn—maybe a few details were missed, but nothing that was any issue. We enjoyed standing out on the balcony watching the little gophers play by the stream out front. The people staying here were also mostly younger travelers or woodsmen on hiking trips. Felt safe, and we also really enjoyed the accessibility of the area—no more than a 12-15 min drive anywhere we needed to go. If I return to Asheville, I would stay here again!

We stayed at this roadside hotel after a late checkin. We didn't get to experience much of the hotel but it seemed the rooms had been recently renovated and were very clean, smelled nice, and had really soft linens! You can tell this is not a chain hotel and had a very family oriented style which i appreciate when traveling. I would stay here again.

If you want a room to rest in, that’s safe and clean. I recommend this hotel. I felt very safe because they have security 24 hours security And that was a plus since I was traveling a single woman alone. The owners were very nice. They helped you out by checking you in and would help me when I needed the next day. they had a great price for what the room was. It was worth every penny. They also have a really great ice machine that I loved and it was in a beautiful location. It had a little stream in front of it and there was a McDonald’s across the street if you wanted to eat breakfast or dinner. And I think that the best part of it is that it’s right on the freeway going up to the smoky mountains so you don’t have to drive to try to find the turn onto the highway thank you Asheville in for The southern hospitality I appreciate it.- Sincerely Marina

Served it purpose, it was clean and had all we really needed to stop for 1 night. Minifridge was cold, microwave heated everything up. TV channels were a bit limited didnt really know what was on there was no tv guide. Only minor (extremely small) complaints were the parking and noise from the road. Its conveniently off the highway and u can hear it but, once u have the tv on or are talking with the ppl you cant really hear it anymore.
